We travelled out west to Seattle to celebrate Thanksgiving and my Nephew Ryan’s 2nd birthday! Almost the whole family was able to make it out there, and we had such a great time, and wanted to stay longer!
Patrick loved all the attention and had a lot of fun playing and running around.
We enjoyed the last of the warm sunshine, had playdates, attempted to paint, went to the park, and bought a fire pit. Woo!
We had a great time dressing up and trick-or-treating this year for Halloween! We decided to dress up as characters from Big Hero 6 – Hiro Hamada, Baymax, and Yokai!
In addition to going to Little Gym once a week, Grandma Marsha has started taking P to music class. He was hesitant at first, but I think he’s starting to get more confident and social! We went to the Dallas Arboretum for pumpkin patch stuff, and that was awesome! The grounds were beautiful and I can’t wait to go back for Christmas themed events soon! We also celebrated my 27th bday at Woodshed 🙂
Now that Patrick is a big 1-year-old, he is considered a toddler! Crazy how fast that came. He is so silly, sweet, and cuckoo. He just started to take some steps after his birthday, and is now getting pretty darn great at walking!
We had a small birthday party for Patrick the next day. We got some tacos and themed it after this silly little book Dragons Love Tacos. I even made him a little dragon tail, which he did not care for! We had tons of fun celebrating with friends and family. The tacos were great also.
Patrick Shea turned 1 on October 14th! His Grammy was in town to help celebrate. On his birthday on Friday, we opened gifts from my family, played, watched Pat coach the JV volleyball team at Country Day, and finished off with dinner at Rodeo Goat.
October started with some beautiful weather where we could actually be outside! Unfortunately, that only lasted a couple of weeks :(. Here’s hoping for cooler weather soon!
We also celebrated my nephew Zach’s 4th birthday! They had a Ninjago party at the park. we had a great time!
In September, we flew to Arizona, went to Oktoberfest, and little P became really really adept at cruisin around the house!
In August, we made a trip out to California to see my family. We swam, saw friends, saw family, watched the Dodgers, and had an A+ time! We also started taking Patrick to his Little Gym classes once a week.
