Mother’s Day Weekend

Had my first official Mother’s Day, and I was lucky enough to share it with both my mom, and my mother-in-law!

My mom scored an awesome deal on a ticket out to DFW, so she came in for a quick visit, where we crammed in a dinner at the Reata, JFK opera at Bass Hall, brunch, botanical gardens, and some awesome tacos & popsicles.

Here’s what our wonderful nanny made for me for Mother’s Day:

We walked over to Bass Hall to see the JFK opera. It was…..interesting! We all wished it would have been a musical instead, but it was an interesting artistic vision…they definitely didn’t shy away from the troubles and scandals within their personal lives!

This is what Patrick was up to while we were at the Opera:

The next morning was Mother’s Day (also Marsha’s birthday party!)

Fun with Aunt Teresa

I don’t think I took a single proper photo of my first Mother’s day with Patrick….or my mom…oopsie poopsie.

We enjoyed some fun tacos and margaritas on the Patio outside of Taco Heads.

FW Market & Table is the perfect outdoor brunch spot if you have a wiggly baby

We finished out the visit with a little walk around the botanical gardens!

Definitely gonna hit up Steel City Pops again!

Great Success

BIG shout out to my brother-in-law Paul and his team! They captured their third Championship #trebel, and Paul was named MVP! Little Noley was able to come to his daddy’s match, and did great!

They are both amazing new parents….in a foreign country, with dad traveling so much with his team. Erin is a rockstar mama, I don’t know how she does it!

Onto my crazy boy, who we’ve lovingly described lately as a cross between a new puppy and a goat.

Play Space

Here’s some pics of PShea’s new play area. Sorry for quality!

This is the perfect little area to corral Mr. Pants. It’s separate from the main living room, and when I’m cooking, I can keep him away from hot stove and peak at him through the dutch doors. We are really happy with our new floors as well. The color and tones change throughout the day, which I really love. Sometimes it reads more cool, other times more warm.
