Okay. So we found out the super news on Valentine’s Day. How’s that for overly sentimental?!
I actually kind of knew the night before (shout-out to James and Kari, with whom we spent the weekend with…..at a bar….. and a brewery… and I had to pretend to drink my beer(s)…you can mail me my Oscar whenever.)
I wanted to confirm it again in the morning and surprise Patrick later in the day. (He had to work on Saturday morning—boy works hard!)
After confirming it, I ran off to Academy so that I could present to Patrick what a only a Mavs enthusiast would appreciate- A Dallas Mavericks baby outfit.
Patrick and I were both so happy and honestly still a bit in shock— our little powers to arrive Oct. 2015!
**Postscript: We have tried to inform the dogs of the good news. Oliver seemed excited. Bucket wanted me to throw his rope.
