Yikes…I’m hella behind. This summer was super fun, busy, and full of exciting changes. Here are some photos to end the month of July!
4th of July!
It was hot and our cuties matched! We also had in-n-out!
Friends & Volleyball
For the weekend of July 4th, we had our closest friends from our Pepperdine days come visit us in Fort Worth! It worked out so great, as Paul was competing in World League for Australia in Dallas, so we could come cheer him and the Aussies on!
All of us have small kiddos now, but everyone was a champ and we had all successful outings, meals, and sleeping! phew!
a Month of Fun!
Here is a photo recap of some of the fun Nolan and Patrick have been having over the past month!
To the beach!
To Charleston!
Memorial Weekend
On Friday, we had Cousin’s BBQ for dinner with the fam!
On Saturday, we bought an inflatable pool for little P to splash in and he has been LOVING it! The doggies also enjoy being in the backyard with us around for constant fetching.
He is starting to be able to sit up by himself as well, so he looks extra grown up & precious when he’s sitting up!
For the holiday, we walked over to the Bevan’s for some delicious bbq and ALL the chippies and dippies. Really, we could have all been satisfied with the chips and dip.
festive.
7 Months Old
Here’s some pics of the little beast as a 7 month old! He is having lots of fun trying solid foods, and will pretty much give everything a fair shot. He is pretty mobile, and is able to scoot across the floor with ease and speed. We better get ready! He also has 2 front teeth! He’s growing up too fast!
Trip to Oklahoma
We drove up to Oklahoma a couple of weekends ago to attend and celebrate Michael’s graduation from OU Law School! We had lots of fun getting to see family, and are so so proud of Michael!
He did NOT enjoy the hotel provided crib, so we only got him to sleep in there for about 4 hours each night. He was happier in the bed with dad!
We celebrated Michael’s Graduation with an amazing dinner at Mickey Mantel’s.
He loved sitting on the window sill and staring outside 10 stories up! no fear!
Mother’s Day Weekend
Had my first official Mother’s Day, and I was lucky enough to share it with both my mom, and my mother-in-law!
My mom scored an awesome deal on a ticket out to DFW, so she came in for a quick visit, where we crammed in a dinner at the Reata, JFK opera at Bass Hall, brunch, botanical gardens, and some awesome tacos & popsicles.
Here’s what our wonderful nanny made for me for Mother’s Day:
We walked over to Bass Hall to see the JFK opera. It was…..interesting! We all wished it would have been a musical instead, but it was an interesting artistic vision…they definitely didn’t shy away from the troubles and scandals within their personal lives!
This is what Patrick was up to while we were at the Opera:
The next morning was Mother’s Day (also Marsha’s birthday party!)
I don’t think I took a single proper photo of my first Mother’s day with Patrick….or my mom…oopsie poopsie.
We finished out the visit with a little walk around the botanical gardens!
Definitely gonna hit up Steel City Pops again!
